I agree completely, i think if Ince rejects us then we must look abroad for another winger. In fact if i was manager i wouldn't sign any british based players unless their transfer fee was reasonsble and i would sign all foreign players to strengthen the team this window. The main reason is because u get value for money, 95% of the time and continental teams are unaware of the amount of money that we have available to play with, so the transfer fees will not be over inflated like they are over here. Every transfer is a gamble, so why not take a gamble on a player worth £1m, that is much cheaper, of the same quality and it would not be a big loss in the finances if the particular player could not adjust to the way football is played over here. Or would you rather spend £10m+ on a player and the player is not good enough and you have a big hole in your £25m transfer kitty? I know what i would prefer and that would be the cheaper foreign option. There are so, so many quality players around the world and the best places to pick up quality, cheap players are places like:- France, Holland, Belgium, Portugal, Germany, Brazil and even in the MLS there are a few decent players. I would much prefer it if we were to sign players that nobody knows about as sometimes a club signs a player that the manager rates highly and then the player turns out to be poor and in the reserves. I have even scouted a few players myself around some parts of Europe as i help 2 of my mates out who are football agents. The talent in Europe IS out there and there are a load of little gems waiting to be discovered. Anyway, im off.
