As it stands league rules may well state that it is illegal for a female to play in a male league but rules change continuously and in todays equality society it may well soon be illegal to have this rule enforced.
a female may never have the physical attributes to compete in a male dominated league but for a P.R. stunt i wouldn't rule out some mega rich multi billionair proving a point and selling shirts, merchandise or whatever on the back of signing a female to the League.
Stranger things have happened and wouldn't that club be for a short time at least the most talked about club in the world even if it is for a short period. Mega exposure brings in mega income.
