Carter and Miller, just opposite the Future Inn and (former) Red Dragon Centre down the bay is a lovely steak house - no need to book and not too pricey.

Haven't been to the Highway man for years, last time Will (City fan) owned it, condemned mans meal was the business.

Went to Viva Brazil a couple of weeks ago, very nice, & if you like your meat, then i recommend it! :D

I went there a few years ago, but went on a Sunday, which turned out to be a non steak day. Gutted.
Will have to try again in the near future.
Is it the same owner ?

I'm surprised Cardiff don't have a Burger and lobster yet. I been to a few in London and for £20 you get burger, lobster and chips! Juicy fat steak too.

Not sure, like i said, i haven't been for years. Wasn't he (Will) a City director in the early 90's?

He also claimed to import the Guinness direct from Dublin,,,don't know how he did that, but it tasted good.

May be the airport next door was the answer!

Many people now prefer Wagyu or Kobe steaks but my clear favourite is still the Beef Curtain.
