Would be a great addition for someone like us but as already stated the package would just be too high for what we4 can afford at present.

Worth a shot if wage not too stupid... He didn't really get much of a chance at Spurs but was a hero at Fulham

Where did you hear this? He would be a good signing for most Premiership teams...his goal scoring record at Fulham was superb

We should 100% move for him I would say, as he would be a perfect addition to our team. I've said for some time now that we have good hard working mid-fielders who run all day, retain possession well and close down. However we lack that bit of quality and cutting edge in that space behind the strikers and in front of the mid-fielders. We nned someone who can receive the ball, turn and play a pass into the forwards in one quick movement. Dempsey would fit the bill

I doubt that very much, that would make Swansea the only team in the league suitable for him.

I'd love him here, he'd bring us goals and PL experience that our squad really lacks. Pretty unrealistic though.

Is it unrealistic though? He's not a youngster anymore and needs games at this stage in his career. Wage demands may be a stumbling block, but as far as I'm aware Spurs dont pay massive wages and if we're offering Ince 40k pw.............

Would also raise the profile of the Bluebirds over here in the USA by having a Yank in the team.
