Right let's be honest, if you were 21 years old, even if a Premier League team had offered you a contract with good wages etc etc, then would you say yes straight away? I doubt it. He's got to make one of the biggest decisions if not the biggest so far in moving clubs, and also moving to the other end of the UK. Cut him some slack.

Yes when the manager wanting you has bent over backwards and met your demands, waited for you to come back from holiday, let him have time to think, come when he wants, come with his dad, takes time out of training his team just to speak to you, offers you the highest paid wages at the club and to become the clubs highest transfer paid for(not sure if Cornelius is 7.5m or 8.5m, we'll never know)

Cut him some slack, yes - he doesn't deserve the amount of stick being thrown at him.
But we all have to admit that this deal has been going on longer than the vast majority of transfers.
Heck, we thought Fraizer Campbell's deal took an age.

Agreed, it is dragging on and yes I was thinking about that transfer earlier!

If I were in his shoes I would think very hard about this move. We're favourites to go down, Cardiff is at the other end of the country and a long way from family and friends, and he has a huge future in the game. Of course I want him to come, he's a class act, but I certainly won't blame him nor abuse him for not making the move

Tom Ince was back in training at Blackpool today as Cardiff City continue to wait for the 21-year-old to make up his mind about a move to the Welsh capital.
Ince met with Bluebirds boss Malky mackay this week about a potential switch after Cardiff had an £8m bid for the player accepted by the seasiders 11 days ago.
Reports in the north west suggest England under-21 international Ince was impressed by what he saw at Cardiff, but wants more time to consider his future.
His father and manager Blackpool, former Manchester United and England midfielder, Paul Ince, who escorted his son to meet with Mackay maintains the decision rests squarely with Ince junior.
There have been suggestions that other Premier league clubs, including Liverpool, where young Ince began his career, and Everton, might come in for the pacey winger, but so far that has not materialised.
Ince senior meanwhile has not ruled out the possibility that his son might remain in the Championship with Blackpool for the coming season.
He said “If Thomas decides to stay, then that’s great. It will mean I have two of the best wingers in the division in him and Matty Phillips.”
It remains unclear how long Mackay is prepared to wait for Ince to make up his mind before moving onto other targets.
It is understood that Cardiff were originally expecting a quick decision by Ince over whether he would be putting pen to per or not on a deal.

Dont think the distance is an issue - this is a very exciting time for him.
At his age I moved 6000 miles for a job. Most likely he was expecting offers from a top 6 team.
So maybe he is frustrated and afraid? I wonder what his fear is regarding ccfc. Seems his best option right now.

His biggest fear is probably relegation with us.
Though Arouna Kone, Christian Benteke and others all shone in a relegation battle, and look at them now. (That's if we were in a relegation battle).

We don't really know how long Cornelius took to decide to come to us probably weeks. Its only because the Ince deal is public knowledge (Thank you Paul Ince ) that we are counting the days.
Malky knows what he is doing , he probably hates this deal being conducted out in the open, not his way of doing things at all. I am sure that well before we kick off in 5 weeks Malky will have the team he wants, a team that will compete and surprise a few people. Its madness to assume he is only doing one deal at a time.

I could not agree more to be fair.

Poor boy. By the time I was 21, I'd been in Germany 3 years and in between that - I'd done a tour of Northern Ireland!!!
