Dont panic lads

ok so we didn't get Wanyama and Ince maybe on a knife edge but there are lots of other quality players out there who would be desperate to join our club. Malky has still got some surprises up his sleeve don't you worry about that ;) :ayatollah:

This is a big move for the lad. He's moving from a Micky Mouse club to the big boys league now. He's got to make sure he's going to the right club, it's a massive decision for the lad in terms of his career. Doesn't help with daddy looking over his shoulder. There's a bit of a conflict of interest there, Paul Ince is his dad, his agent (I think) and the manager of the club that's selling him. For me he's far too involved and makes it all very complicated. I would have given him a time limit to make his decision (which I suspect Malky has) or we move on :ayatollah:

The main issue is we knew we were promoted weeks before Palace and Hull yet we sem behind in our recruitment process and have spent a long time chasing players that didn't come off (Wanyama and Ince) it's doesn't exactly bold well.

I think the reason for that is that we are pitching a bit higher in terms of quality for players than Palace and Hull. We are competing with more established Premier league clubs for these quality signatures. We haven't just been talking with Ince and Wanyama, negotiations with other players their agents and their clubs are going on all the time in the background, all hush hush stuff. Malky has a certain way of working, let him do his thing :ayatollah:

I don't think MM will, but I hope that if we do lose out on Wanyama which looks likely becauae of the clubs reluctance to pay an extra 500k-1m and Ince the club then do not go and buy bargain basement players to pad the squad out. Rather have 3-4 quality players than 6-7 average players. Defenders are a concern?

I'm not worried as Carl posted all the way from Florida that we had 3 signings to enjoy this week.
Can't wait

It is now Wednesday evening and we seem to be getting further away from our signings than we were this time last week. Clubs around us that we could probably end up in a scrap with are purchasing with some decent signings, has Malky's stance with Wanyama proven to be wrong over 500k or so more in the offer?

I am not yet worrying but will be soon, as for Ince the kid obviously would like to go elsewhere so if he is not convINCEd with Cardiff then why pursue the interest and start looking elsewhere. He has had enough time!
