Which makes it all a bit puzzling,,,,unless they (TI) is biding his time, in the hope of a better offer forth coming?

the thing is, i wouldnt be surprised if he stays at blackpool, has a good first 6 months then someone like everton come in for him,. its a risk for him but at the age of 21 i wouldnt blame him

Club being held to ransom by a kid who's done f**k all in the game. What's that say to other players we're after?

on the other hand he could move to a premier league club, do well, and get a chance somewhere bigger.

and on the other hand he comes he gets injured in the first few games out for the season, we go back down and hes left in the championship again

or he gets injured first game of the season for blackpool

There are no guarantees in football or elsewhere for that matter. Look, he could stay at Blackpool and get an injury or whatever and never get the chance to play in the PL again. Had he had a great under 21 tournament, I can tell you there'd be a host of top clubs in for him already. As it stands he is a very good player in the 'Championship" - different level altogether in the PL!
In the under 21's competition there was a lot of quality he was up against, and he, just like Saha looked out of sorts and maybe that's why others have decided to leave well alone. If I was the boy, I'd take this opportunity while it's knocking!
I would not be surprised if there is no answer by end of today, then Malky will pull out. Personally, I'd have upped the stakes and used some of the funds set for Ince and got Wanyama instead.

A lot better out there for less money

When you have a bid accepted and he has visted the capital then why pull out? Stupid thing to do.
He is a massive MM target and he will always do whatever it takes to get his man.
Wed Jul 10, 2013 12:11 pm
If he is holding out for a bigger club he will end up a Scott Sinclair, Adam Johnson etc.....
Maybe he just prefers beach football!!!
There's no doubt this transfer is dragging on.... He may have been impressed with the set up but it sounds like he wasn't sold on the idea...
Ideally it would be best if we could get our signings in before the start of the season... If we wait until the end if the window then we will have already played 3 games 2 against top 6 teams!
I would give him to the weekend to accept the deal or withdraw the offer...

Malky has had his trousers pulled down by Ince, Malky is like that desperate lad, who will do anything just to be with that girl(Tom Ince) yet Tom Ince keeps hoping that a lad on her social status will join her
But in all honesty Malky has come out and clearly wanted to sign him for some time, we are all getting frustrated and that says a lot because we rate him and think he's a talented player, not entirely sure what's going on but to train yesterday and train again tomorrow is sort of disrespectful to Malky who has allowed him a lot of time to decide even before coming. Ince dithering around is affecting Malky training the squad etc, I've noticed on 'In The City' that 3 coaches took training whilst Malky didn't. Plus it leaves our players in limbo, if Ince signs then players in his position will work harder to get into the team, if not they will be more laid back, maybe they'll feel negative and think they're only playing because Ince didn't join us.
But I trust Malky, it's not his fault at all, he's sold the club to him, showed a lot of respect to Ince Snr and Jnr and has done his uttermost to make him sign.
If we don't sign him we don't sign him, i really want to see him here but Malky's a good young manager and he'll learn

It's a big decision yes but he made it once moving from Liverpool to Blackpool? Surely that was harder?
Also, he's a footballer.... players move?
Plus.... Is 21 that young? I thought you were fully an adult by then?

It's only 56 miles from Liverpool to Blackpool.

I concur, it's not that big of a move.
If a bigger club was to come in for him, they would've already contacted Blackpool by now.
If he wants to progress in his career, it doesn't take much thought on where he should be playing next season.

In my eyes, it's as simple as this; unless another club bids for him, he will join us. And I believe if another club were going to bid, they would have already done so.

Disagree with that. Every indication has been that he has been holding out for Liverpool, Spurs, etc to come in. The first link on this Forum about the club expressing an interest was back in mid JUNE.
This has been some saga which has gone on and on. If another club don't come in for him it does not mean that he will automatically come to us. I think that there is every chance that he will stay at Blackpool and hope a 'bigger club' comes in for him in January or this time next year.

He has 1 year left on his contract so Blackpool will want to get the most they can from his sale. If they sell him now they get 8mil, if they sell him in January they could be lucky to get 4 or 5mil as he'd only have 6 months left and if he didn't sell in January he'd go on a free. Look at us with Campbell, he had 6 months left on his contract, so we got him for 650k. If he had a year left, it would have been at least 1.5 to 2.5mil for him.

I agree regarding the contract. I think Blackpool are very keen to sell and take the money and cash in on him.
There were expectations that big clubs would have come in for him and to date that has not happened. It has also been reported that he would not be against staying at Blackpool for another season. Thats probably why its difficult for his Father as his manager. It seems the player may want one thing i.e. a move to a 'big club' or stay at Blackpool whilst Blackpool want to cash in on him. Who knows !

Hmm as you say mate, who knows! All I hope is he will be playing foe us come August 17th.

I don't know why everyone is making such a fuss over this transfer. His age is irrelevant anyone signing a long term contract will want to explore all the options and consider offers carefully, I certainly would.
I remember people slagging off Noone in a similar transfer saga.
People seem to forget we are now the small fish in a powerfully big pond, transfers won't be as easy as they were in the championship. Some Players will want to see how we do in our first season.
