I suspect Malky is now on Plan D!

Wed Jul 10, 2013 6:29 am

It's a reality check for him in signing quality premiership players, but no doubt he expected it but that means we could be in for a long wait for signings and no where near what he wants or what we really need to be successful.

Players not wanting to come to Cardiff, well I suppose it's a matter of taste, I wouldn't want to sign for any club in London - fecking heaving with people and traffic all the time, wouldn't sign for anyone in the Manchester area - full of guns and drugs, Liverpool area - nope the robbing gits, and as for Midlands - well less said............

So that leaves the north, too grim, the south - too old and finally west wales mmmm??

So it's south wales or our sheep shagging inbreds in Anglia?

:old:

ps before anyone mentions Scotland - parks football I can get down here and abroad - too many foreigners!

It's now about wanting to live here, it's about Cardiff City and selling the story and ambitions. If you ask any of the supporters who came here when the Mill Stad was used they rave about the city and its available atractions for match days. It's the club that has to sell their sole to players in order to get them to sign, it's a really difficult problem for any promoted club, and more so for a club that has not been in the premiership before.

Yes we have been turned down, some names have already been mentioned, others will come out later no doubt - I bet they've been working 18 hour days to get players in and will keep that up until we get a big enough squad.
It's just a long, patient waiting game where you need a dozen plans.

The vast majority of these so called players turning us down is bullshit from the press, we've asked about certain players being available but in most cases that's has far as it's gone, the press on the other hand have made up a complete different story, (what a shocker) the two true ones to date are ince and wanyanna, ince is obviously holding out to see if a "bigger" club comes in for him, and it was malky who told celtic that we are walking away from the wanyanna deal due to the amount lennon wanted up front, i'm sure malky still has plenty of obtions, and a few suprises in store for us  all will be revealed shortly. :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

We are a newly promoted club, obviously it isnt going to be easy for any manager in Malky's position to get their primary targets convinced that arent going to be involved in a relegation dog fight all season long, our firends from the west have proven that once you are considered established you can obtain the services of higher end transfer targets. Hopefully Malky will pull a couple of interesting under the radar signing out of the bag, failing that I can see a busy deadline day.
