The Ince jigsaw puzzle

Wed Jul 10, 2013 6:21 am

Lets put together the pieces
The day Blackpool accepted our offer Ince SNR reportedly nearly resigned.
Last Wednesday while Ince junior was on holiday , Ince SNR indicated to the Blackpool fans that he was hoping to give them "happy news" on the transfer front ... Hmmm
Ince jnr then comes back from holidays and plays a friendly .

IMO the signs are indicating that Blackpool club are pressurising Ince SNR to get his son to join us.

Agree, I think Blackpool need the money from an Ince sale and he is reluctant to move particularly to us. He is looking at a 'bigger club'.

Ince will be a Cardiff City player very soon. :ayatollah:

Correct Ince senior is far too involved in the process he's the kids agent, dad and manager of the selling club -conflict of interest is the term that comes to mind. If I were Malky I would move on now. We only want players here who really want to play for the club, Ince to me is taking far too long to make up his mind

Although I want him here,i feel we are gonna be let down on this deal.

The impression is that we are being used in order for a 'bigger club' to come in for him. Blackpool probably want the money for his transfer and Ince would prefer to go to a Liverpool, Spurs, etc.

He has had plenty of time to consider his options. It would be a pleasant surprise but I cannot see him coming to us.

It's quite embarrassing how fans talk of him like he is a Cardiff born boy or Cardiff City fan. He has no attachment to the club and the lad is one of the hottest British talent.. Not easy to make a move when you have other clubs montoring the situation.

If you really think carefully.. Tom Ince has 1 year left on his contract. Blackpool have already offered him a new one ages ago along with the most of the squad who take another 1 year rolling contract. There is no way KO would want him going on a free. No-one else is going to come in for him and would have by now, no doubt.

I think waiting 51 years for top flight football is a bloody big wait, so I think being a bit impatient on signings is fine when we could throw that away if we don't strengthen :ayatollah:

I'll wait for the board game this puzzles rubbish, can't even see a photo.

I believe Ince wants to go to a premiership club but wants to ensure that the club he goes to are not going to get relegated which Cardiff are in a strong position to go down in our first season, hence why he is taking his time over making a decision.

For me if another club comes in for him and he goes to them so be it, but if he does decide his next step is Cardiff I believe we will have a player who will put his heart and soul into stopping us from getting relegated for his own personal career which can only be a good thing?

Just my opinion of cause :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Ince SNR would love Cardiff to pull out of the deal so it wouldn't reflect bad on himself and he gets to keep his job.
