Sky now say Ince is having a medical

Ince is undergoing a medical after he and his father Paul held talks with Cardiff on Monday about a move to the Premier League new boys.

Talks are thought to have gone well, with personal terms close to being agreed and the player is expected to make a decision on the move in the next 48 hours.

Cardiff agreed a fee in the region of £8million for Ince last month as Malky Mackay looks to win the race for the England Under 21 international.

Swansea also expressed an interest in signing Ince, but were put off by Blackpool's asking price.

Ince is regarded as one of the brightest young talents in the country after impressing at Blackpool in the last couple of seasons following his arrival from Liverpool.

Blackpool are resigned to losing their prize asset, with Ince thought to be keen on trying his luck in the Premier League.
