Seems Likely looking at today's and other reports :(

Shame would have liked him with us this season, See if he could find his before villa form again.

£5m for the finished article (proven striker) is a CHEAP risk in the premiership! I would definitely pay £5m for Bent, but I can not see him wanting to come to a club EXPECTED to be fighting relegation, than an established premiership club.

i agree but i do expect Newcastle to struggle again this season.i think his personal terms would be a bit much for us.
