CHARLIE AUSTIN FAILS MEDICAL

Having a medical at Hull City at the moment, could be one of those players who will bang in the goals no matter which league they play in. Scored for Swindon and Burnley and will be main striker for Hull in Premier League. Apparently only costing £4.5m and I can't imagine his wages were excessively high.

Yeah just saw this on sky news, Though if he can cut it at this level - just like Andreas Cornelius remains to be seen.

25 goals in 37 league appearences last season. In his 4 seasons in league football he has over a 50% strike rate (1 goal every 2 games).

Charlie Austin is a 6 foot 2 striker and Bellamy plays on the wing.

comparing Austin to Maynard is quite frankly stupid.

Campbell strike rate last season is comparable, but only played 13 games. and anyway, Austin is a different type of striker.

Hull getting a very good deal there and im a bit annoyed we arent going for him.

or maybe the fact weve laid out 8m for a striker of similair stature.

His goals dried up the second half of the season. He's a good finisher but has little else to his game, he's nowhere near good enough for the Premiership imo. We can do a lot better than him, especially for 4.5 million, he isn't worth that.

I personally think hell struggle in the premiership,hell score goals for hull but only next season after they are relegated

Bruce wouldn't go into details on Talkshite this morning but said that a scan had identified a problem. Having said that, he hasn't suffered that much with injuries.
