Hal Robson-Kanu turns down Cardiff City move
Reading midfielder Hal Robson-Kanu has turned down a summer switch to Cardiff City and agreed a new contract with the Championship side.
Robson-Kanu caught the eye with a string of accomplished performances for the Royals last season, scoring seven goals in 25 Premier League appearances.
Despite reported interest from Cardiff and Aston Villa the Welsh international has decided to commit his future to Reading and sign a new three-year deal, according to the Daily Star.
The 23-year-old will reportedly become one of the club's top earners when he puts pen to paper on fresh terms later this week, joining Alex Pearce in pledging his commitment to a promotion push under manager Nigel Adkins.
The Royals boss has been quick to shape his squad in the close season, signing a trio of players including former England full-back Wayne Bridge and Royston Drenthe.

lazy journalism. Which other players will the Star obviously think we must be interested in due to them being Welsh internationals?

Joe Allen next, once Brenda confirms he's no longer part of his first team plans.

The reason I took this from the Sticky section is for the highlighted reasons above! Can we really take this article seriously? Even the heading doesn't even say where its come from, and mentions of the Daily Star are just
Come on!

No bitterness but I think that's good for the club. He may have scored a couple of goals towards the end of the season when it was known Reading were on the way down but he did not set the Premiership alight. Any of the big clubs in for him? NO, that sums it up really.
I am quite surprised that MM and His team looked at him in the first place !

Surely, at least according to that bunch of bollocks he's turned down Aston Villa as well.
