Perhaps it's us finding our level.

He was such a promising youngster , just has never settled , would be a massive gamble ut if he got his head together and knuckled down he is a very tricky winger
Mon Jul 08, 2013 8:28 pm
I remember being excited about him the first time round. Not sure how much he's done since leaving us though.
Mon Jul 08, 2013 8:31 pm
If he's cheap, he's a tidy squad player. But on past experience he won't set the premiership alight.
Goes against Malky's rule though: "I will only bring in players that are better than what we have"
Can't say I'm overly excited if this is true.

he wasn't too bad at brum but wasn't his best first time with us, however he does seem a lot settled and played a lot better in reason seasons, maybe a huge gamble but it could work and if he does reach his potential for us then great job by malky

massive gamble though

P. S. Why is this a sticky?
Hardly a hot topic is it. We talked about this week's ago

I'd welcome him back any day of the week, pacey and technically very good. Would be a handful for most Premier League fullbacks.

There is better out there ( IMO ) .

Did nothing when he came here. Gobsmacked we are even thinking about him.

He made a a terrible mistake in his career - signing for Spartak Moscow on a long contract, a club who traditionally have not been too kind to black players. He wanted out and went out on loan to four sides.
While he was here I thought he was used inappropriately by Jones. After a promising debut he was rarely used and when he did some on it was usually when we were chasing games and Jones played him up front.
Saying that I am surprised if we sign him but maybe Malkys dossier on him is bigger than my opinion.

Premier League newcomers Crystal Palace enjoyed a 3-0 victory over Gillingham at Priestfield in their second-pre-season fixture.
Former Derby defender Dean Moxey put Palace ahead in the 21st minute at the home of the League One side.
Second-half goals from Stephen Dobbie, a summer signing from Brighton, and former Arsenal winger Quincy Owusu-Abeyie, on trial with the Eagles, sealed the win for Ian Holloway's men.

On trial at Palace, hasn't been signed yet but hoping a deal can be done.

Ghana winger Quincy Owusu-Abeyie wants to stay with Crystal Palace in order to prove a point in the English Premiership according to his agent.
The 27-year-old looks likely to earn a permanent deal haven excelled in his ongoing trials at Selhurst Park.
Quincy was a former Premier League campaigner while with Arsenal.
Limited first team opportunities under manager Arsene Wenger however denied him the opportunity to prove he can be successful in the English top flight.
The Ghana international who has played in several countries including Russia, Spain, Qatar and Greece appears to be on his way back to the Premiership with newly promoted Crystal Palace.
His agent Leon Callander now says the player wants to stay in England despite receiving offers elsewhere primarily to prove ‘a point’.
“The more Quincy plays for Ian Holloway the more he is going to do,” Callander said.
“He’s not even at his optimum. Judging from what I saw atPanathinaikos
