Is Paul Ince a pushy dad?

Mon Jul 08, 2013 5:29 pm

Can this lead to pyschological problems further down the line? I'm a bit worried that Paul ince has brought Tom to Cardiff on a in the styel ofa day trip during the school holidays....Is Tom too psychologically attatched to his father? Is Malky man enough to father young Tom? Will Malky have to give Tom a spare key to his house incase he has a bad dream and wants to sleep in Malkys bed for comfort? If we're paying 8 million this boy needs psychologically assessing as part of a medical. and no i'm joking, 8 million is a lot of money. time for psychologists on medicals i think.

Silly post if you ask me,Whats wrong with a father taking interest in his sons future, its a big step, and i would have been proud to take my dad with me(had i ever been given a chance)cant see your point at all sorry :?

You are assuming that Tom took Paul, I reckon Paul took Tom. This is the crux of the issue. who took whom.

Is this a serious thread? Paul is his father of course he is going to take a big interest in what his son is doing with his career.

How many men in their twenties have a father this involved? We've seen what pushy dads can do to the tennis prodigies at wimbledon. they all burn out and end up in rehab. Unless we sign paul This is a massive gamble at 8 million.

You are looking too much into it sorry. Thomas is 21 I think, he still is young and it is a big move for him. I see nothing wrong with it.

I've got a degree in psychology, i know the harm pushy dads can inflict on their toddlers. the style of Pauls entrance into Cardiff central was nothing short of pushy. I bet there are no psychologists involved in this huge move.

Paul Ince may be his manager, but he's also his Dad. Our amateur psychologist has no idea of the relationship
between them both, for all he knows they are best mates. If thats the case its hardly a surprise he wants his dad
with him

God forbid, but if you reach the stage in life were you have a twenty one year old son, you'll know why the old man tagged along.
