The Blackpool midfielder is understood to be in the Welsh capital as Malky Mackay looks to complete an £8m move for the England under-21 international
Cardiff City appear close to finally sealing a deal for Blackpool star Tom Ince after the England under-21 international was spotted in Cardiff city centre today.
Several fans took to social networking site Twitter after spying Ince and father Paul, the Blackpool manager, at Cardiff central train station.
The Bluebirds have had a bid, believed to be around £8m, accepted for the player and are hoping to thrash out personal terms with the 21-year-old in the next 24 hours.
Manager Malky Mackay is confident of getting his man, with the chance to play regular first team football believed to be high on Ince's list of priorities
“We’ve had a bid accepted and Tom has been on holiday,” Mackay said last week.
“He’s back and we are going to be talking to him over the next couple of days.
"We are very keen to push things forward, he’s a young and exciting player.
“He needs to play football and that is something that both his dad and I realise.”
Highly-rated Ince scored 18 goals in 47 appearances for Blackpool last season. He came off the bench to score a goal in Blackpool's 2-0 friendly win against Penrith on Saturday.
