Hibs v Florist

Friendly abroad was marred by crowd trouble...

Fair play, I've been to some mental football matches in my time, but I don't think I was ever as uncomfortable as I was going to watch Hibs when I was a kid. Hibs v Aberdeen, late 80's, a real eye-opener.

Funnily enough, it was always okay to go down to Tynecastle, but Easter Road could be brutal.

Have you ever read These Colours Don't Run by Derek Dykes. Great read...

I have, I've got a Hibs daft cousin who lives in Currie and he gave me a copy. He's still got a box full of old press cuttings from the 80's and 90's when the Hibs fans would cause bother. Respectable family man and all that these days, but he's got some great stories to tell. He used to take me down to Easter Road when I was younger and it still pains him if I go up there and go and watch a Hearts match

Swansea, folks moved here when I was a toddler. I try and get up to Edinburgh when I can, most of my family still live up there, but running a pub has it's drawbacks when it comes to getting time off.

Still think it's harsh that the poor wee flower shop guy had to play against a full team.
