you pay extra for assembly mate, i bought mine boxed and put it together myself saved £30, its easy enough just follow instructions to the letter, but if you break anything or it gets damaged halfords wont replace as you sign a disclaimer whenpick ing it up

hope that helps

Thought it was free. Plus 6weeks free service. Pick the bike you want early enough in the day and ride it out of the store the same day. Smaller bike stores like reg braddocks on broadway offer that deal, so I don't see no reason why halfords wouldn't offer the same kind of deal

Just go in there mate, pick the bike you want, and if they do charge for assembling them in store.. Have a word! Say you really want that certain bike-bikes, and need it assembled asap, but can't afford the assembly fee on top of what the bike-bikes cost.. is there any chance you could do me a favour? I'm sure they will oblige you if you get there early enough in the day. They may leave it till the end of the shift and tell you to call back just before closing time, but I'm sure a big store like that will want to satisfy the customer... Especially if you lay it on and give them the sob story :ayatollah:

Careful in buying a mb from halfrauds thet really do sell some shit bikes and in many stores have monkeys pretending to ne mechanics. Depending on your budget I would either go to a proper bike shop or look at buying a better bike second hand. Cheap mountain bikes can be heavy and have really shocking components. Enough to put people off for life.
