A high-quality panoramic print of Ninian Park signed by Dave Jones and the 2008/09 squad.

See link, which is hopefully self-explanatory:

Just saved it, quite blurry for a desktop background but keeping it whatever happens. That's what happens when you don't protect your images. :laughing6:

If you click on the pic it opens up to 1600x1244 should be a decent quality. TLG won't mind it's not as if you have the original.

The whole point is you have hand written signatures not printed off crap from the internet.

You are really not affecting his auction.

To be honest, I can't imagine why anyone would want to put a piece of fake memorabilia on their wall, but I suppose if you support a football club with a fake identity the idea might appeal.

:D

Problem is. there's nothing to say which signature is which is there? Being cynical, I could easily run one of them up
myself using a different pic, with a white border and loads of squiggles. In fact I will!!

Some of the players have put their numbers next to their signatures, so they are easy to identify.

One or two you can actually read (but not many, I'll grant you).

I managed to find a few easily enough in Google images (just enter the player's name and the word 'autograph' and examples usually appear).

I've got to admit though, there are several on there I can't identify at all.

I'm 100% happy with the decision. Indeed, if the truth be told, it wasn't even a decision I had to make. The moment the re-brand u-turn was announced, I instinctively knew that I was finished with it. Maybe I was too close to the whole thing in retrospect, but I just couldn't support the way that Tan, the club officials and some of the fans behaved (and continue to behave). Not in a million years. I could never have any pride in a football club that has no pride in its own identity and I could never be a part of fanbase that would meekly accept what has happened here in the way that it did.

There have been a few tough moments during the last year and I miss seeing some of the mates I'd got friendly with over the years through the football, but it's very much a case of swings and roundabouts. After 37 years of devoting far too much energy to following a professional football club, life for me has changed significantly in many respects, and mostly it's been for the better. My only real regret is that I didn't quit sooner, or at least stop taking the whole thing so seriously and wasting so much time, effort and money on it.

As for Bluebirds Unite, I wish those involved well, but the truth is they're pissing in the wind. It's a case of too little, far too late. Maybe that's easier to see from a distance than it is from close up. The time for protest was in the early stages of last season, but the vast majority of the fanbase simply didn't have the stomach for it. That was evident very early on in the proceedings. Since then, the horse has not only bolted but it's done several laps of the track. Bluebirds Unite haven't got a prayer of altering Tan's thinking. The man is an absolute dictator and most supporters have demonstrated that they are apparently happy to be dictated to as long as the team is winning matches.

It will be interesting to see what happens if competing in the Premier League proves tougher than the majority of supporters seem to expect, but if the side does reasonably well and solidifies its position in the top flight, then any lingering hopes that those involved in BU have of restoring the club's traditional identity will be very quickly extinguished.

Tan is the type of man and this is the type of regime that needs to be challenged head on, and that needed to happen as soon as he and his cronies (local and international) started treating the fans like idiots. But the majority stayed silent and have since celebrated the benefits of the Emperor's money. They got the promotion they wanted. Now they're going to have to put up with the rest of the shit that will go with it.

All the indications are that most will be perfectly happy to do so. Those who aren't should have done more last summer when they had the opportunity. Following the club's promotion to the Premier League, their numbers have been even further diluted. Peer pressure on fellow fans and newcomers wasn't applied when it needed to be. I'm afraid that Cardiff City's traditional identity is well and truly a thing of the past and there's next to nothing that the good folk of Bluebirds Unite can do about that.
