Celtic playing games

Sun Jul 07, 2013 10:20 am

Lennon has just said that Soton have reignited their interest in wanyama along with everton. Trying to initiate a bidding war, as much as I think he would be a good but I hope malky sticks to his guns.

Malky still wants Wanyama, but he will stand back now and it will be up to Celtic to come back to Cardiff, I believe City are only prepared to pay £10 mill max despite the papers saying more.Quality player but Malky is staying out of the games by Celtic.

Its a good move. Esp if Wanyama has said he wants to join CCFC.....force Celtic to come to us.

Celtic will just wait for the highest bidder, they are not playing games they know they can get more if they wait, so do not hold your breath for them coming back to you

Best we just forget all about him. Sounds like a mercenary to me and one we can do without

Be very interesting, Football is a very funny game and anything can happen, If no one else gives the money as a lot of it is paper talk, then don't rule out Celtic coming back to Malky.

I hope malky has a back up plan because there is a small window where the better players are available

Forever i see that Everton are now interested in signing him. As a jack i personally think that welsh football need both cardiff and swansea in the premier league, enjoy the ride forever great times for welsh football don't you think.

They dont know that though. Everton/Southampton might both be thinking the same as Cardiff City. Then Lennon could well be
left holding a hot potato that dont want to be there no more

But Malky can't afford to wait our whole season is based on who we get, he needs to mauve straight on to his plan B.....

Everton are skint and won't pay that much for him

We have walked away so they know where we stand.

We move on and Celtic will hope for Everton to bid £12million, which I doubt or Southampton increase their wage offer to Wanyama.

Malky is playing a blinder.

I totally agree. All Celtic are trying to do is to play one team off against another. I wouldn't have thought the player is too impressed either being messed around. Clearly Celtic want to make as much money as possible but they only paid 900K and that wasn't that long ago.

Neil Lennon and Celtic are well suited. Detestable cunts. I suppose we have to get used to dealing with greedy pricks like this. Wanyama wants to better himself in the BPL, but has made it clear he doesn't want to go to Southampton, but now Lennon is trying to engineer the move there due to the Saints offering a fatter down payment. As you said Wayne, nicely played Malky

CityGent do you see this deal as dead in the water now or do you think there's still a chance wanyama could be a bluebird before the new season starts?

Neil Lennon was a very good player. But no more than that. No World beater, no incredibly distinguished career.
As a manager? What the f**k has he done? managed Celtic in the SPL. A bit like managing Lennox Lewis in a fight
with Naseem Hamed. Celtic are now resigned to the fact that they will forever rot in the SPL. Premiership Clubs
are wary of Lennon as he is just a big fish in a small pond up there. A gobby little fucker. So he is loving the attention
right now. Playing Billy Big time. wanker.
