Defenders

Kurt Zouama and Ben Mendy, I'm sorry but that's ridiculous money for hardly any experience in the Barclay's PL. We need good old fashioned style defending from experienced players.

I'm really worried that we are getting all these big name strikers, of which we now have enough, and we haven't been linked with any defenders who I believe will help us avoid relegation. Why not go in for players like Spurs' out of favor captain Dawson or good old Roger Johnson. These are names that could be invaluable in our search for survival!

With Kaboul returning from injury and Vertongen and Caulker ahead of him, Dawson will not be seeing much of the pitch.
Johnson's a good player and I havent heard anything of the sort in the last couple of years.

Why does everyone want Johnson back? His best years were with us, yes, but that is no reason to bring back a poor player who turns up drunk for training. He has been relegated 3 times in a row as well. If we want to stay up we need premier league quality. Not Championships players.
