Andy Murray

Really hard to root for a fellow Brit when he is as miserable as this c**t.

A product of modern sport. Boring tw*t.

Re: Andy Murray

Isn't he intentionally boring though? After people bitched because he jokingly said "Anyone but England" at the Euro's (2004 or 8?) he said he wouldn't do anything but answer questions because of the reaction.

Quality Tennis player though. Hope he wins on Sunday, but it's the tallest of orders.

Credit where its due I think the top tennis players are probably the most elite sportsmen on the planet.

5 hours some matches and still their timing and accuracy has to be spot on.

Murray is a spoilt brat. He going to take a f*cking hiding in the final.

Who gives a f**k if he doesnt give it the cheesy celebrity twat5 in interviews. If ur not that way inclined then don't be false. I'd much rather a jock like Murray win then Tim ' I got fiddled with in private school ' Henman or greg 'big chin 99% canadian' Rusedski win. If he does do you think we'll all be wearing "Andy Murray polo's" like we do Fred Perry :)

Errrrrrrrm, NO.

Brad Wiggins has got a range because he has personality.

If Murray had a range it would have one colour - Grey.

Yeah the t-shirts was tongue in cheek. Give me Murray any day of the week over Henman an CanadiaN Greg. Can u imagine Henman winning Wimbledon? we'd still be talking about it most f*cking days for the last 10 years.

Re: Andy Murray

murray great player proper top top player but I agree with polo is attitude sometimes stinks and when he sulks when he don't get his own way is annoying, however earlier with the roof its understandable but he constantly moans when he loses a point to anyone when feeling the pressure, constantly swearing like earlier shouting at the ref that the other guy was talking, his temper and moaning will be his downfall in my opinion

Real gentlemen British sportsmen like Fred Perry, Lennox Lewis, Bobby Moore and David Coulthard don't have much personality of note but they ooze class and there is something about them that is likeable because of it. On court Murray shows me nothing of his character just a bit of petulant prat. I'll be supporting him on Sunday off course but he's just one of a long line of boring sportsmen. You can add most footballers to that list and Lewis Hamilton. Character is drilled out of them at a young age.

Roger Federer has a lot of class about him as well, one of the greatest sportsmen ever. Totally dominant in his prime. The reaction times of some players is crazy, they typically have 0.6 seconds to react to a serve, not only do they need to hit the ball but return it in that time. Thoroughly enjoyed the tennis this year, feel as though more people are appreciating what great athletes they are now. Full of characters as well ironically.

Gazza had personality and world class skills.

Terrible to see him in such a state. Fallen off the wagon again.

Sometimes think death is a better option for him. His own so called friends and family fleeced him.

Gazza was a loser.

What did he ever win that he can show his kids? An FA Cup winners medal and some a few scottish trophies. How we pigeon this guy as world class is beyond me.

Put his team honours on the table next to someone as average as andy townsend, and i bet townsend has more winners trophies in england

He had so much skill, but never had it in him.

I bet there arent 50 more british sportsman that have won something have been as dedicated as him.

I would put him up there with the countries rowers, cyclists and multievent athletes for dedication, very few british footballers are as dedicated.
