That isn't directed at you Cakey, I know you don't have a problem with us playing in red and I don't know your reasons why us playing in red is fine with you. But I've already spoken to a few pro rebrand fans who are wanting us to pay a bit extra for Wanyama and it goes totally against everything they have previously said about accepting the rebrand for our "financial stability". Financial stability of our club? My arse! These fans just want success at any cost and if things don't work out, we will go bust!
The fees quoted are absolute madness for a team in their first season in the Premiership with a continuously increasing debt. I shudder to think what will happen to us if we get relegated! Will some of you please wake up and realise the impact this erratic spending could have? This is a risk and it isn't even a calculated risk, it's an unneccessary risk that could put us in an impossible position if things go wrong. This isn't a rebrand post, it's a post about our current spending policy. I know we have only signed Cornelius so far, but the fact we are bidding 10 million plus for players in our current situation is absolutely suicidal!

And how much million did we get for getting to the premiership something like 80million? People forget that money, I'm sure some of that will be going on players along with tans own money. People who think he is gonna leave the club in loads of debt are just a bit paranoid imo and its all speculation.

I can't believe one of the top 6 clubs haven't come in for him. I've no doubt that whoever he goes to this time will probably make a 10m profit on him after a couple of seasons in the EPL.

I cannot enjoy the ride when I am wondering if we still have a football club left to support in the future. The majority of the money we are getting from being in the Premiership should go towards clearing our debt. We are going to put ourselves into even further debt the way we are going and if things go wrong, we will be in big trouble.

Tell me how are we going to compete in the Premier League if we don't spend on survival? VT is a wealthy businessman with great success in most of his ventures.

I would rather us keep our current squad, not spend a penny, get relegated and then use all our Premiership money to clear a large chunk of our debt than spend ridiculous money like this. I just want a football club to support in the future, whatever the level.
