Just this one question, honest answer, would we be in the the premier league now if sam hamman didn't take the club over in 1999/2000 ?
Thanks in advance for answering.

We could well have done it a different way without the debt problems that are still affecting us.

It is an impossible question answer although I would stretch a point and say we wouldn't have a new 27000 seat (blue) stadium without Sam taking over in 2000

But IMHO not a cat in hell's chance of us being anywhere near the Premier League if it was left to Sam back then, as he simply didn't have the finances and (as was proven before Tan) no one was willing to join in to make it happen![]()

Why even ask a question nobody can answer? is there an agenda here? has sam been asking his troops to get people back on his side? apart from a handful, the Cardiff City fanbase hates the man

You're reading between the lines again. I don't " love" sam. I'm just asking a hypothetical question. There's no right or wrong answer, i just wondered what people thought.

Well ok. Hypothetically speaking. Hammam came on board only a few years after Ricky Wright left really. Ricky had Cardiff all over the press and media a few years previously when he ''floated'' the .idea that Cardiff City were a big thing waiting to
happen. So its very possible that somebody else rather than hammam could have come in around that time and took the club over. its also very possible that whoever else had come in would have also realised NP was on its last legs and had the idea for a new ground

I notice you forgot to mention Kumar, lets not cherry pick. .Come after rick wright and before hamman. What about another 10 years of him? Or someone like him, What division would we be in then?
