Will Malky outfox the ITK people again

Fri Jul 05, 2013 4:54 pm

Not having a go at anyone but this ITK lark seems to be dead and buried.Has the edge over rival messageboards gone now?The "latest news" I.D.just seems to be quoting copy from over the internet.

Indeed. Malky has kept deals close to himself

With Ince and Wanyama being in the bag to now neither looking likely I could go for some ITK squad needs about 5/6 players and we've experienced too many "no thanks" or "hands off" notes. Looks like Malky is going to look at his B list.

Apart from the Ince deal I think that the rest of the signings will come out of the blue.

spot on. Malky is deliberatley doing it i think. far from being ITK, these boards are being used by the Club to spread misinformation. but it dont bother the boards cos they still get the hits, because people will sooner beleive anything
than hear nothing

I agree, I'd never even heard of Cornelius before. Mind you I don't play football manager.

Surprisingly this pre season The Daily Mail has been spot on with everything. They called the Gomis interest, the Wanyama situation(the deal is dead and buried as far as Cardiff City are concerned due to Celtic moving the goalposts more than once), and they also scooped that Tom Ince agreeing terms with us and becoming a Cardiff City player, which he is

They must have a very good contact at the club

Lakey, I think they are just a league above the local reporters. Premier League football attracts the best journo's with many contacts. it's not just contacts at the club they have, its contacts throughout the game.

aamb and ccmb source out more city related links than walesonline. the local media here get a few quotes. the national media get the juice.

Good points Mike. They've probably been excellent in the past, but I doubt if I've taken much notice of their articles until recently - and I doubt they've taken much notice of us either, until the promotion.
