WELL DONE MALKY

Fri Jul 05, 2013 1:22 pm

Malky pulls out of Wanyama saga.

Welcome to Premier League.

You've come out of this with dignity.
So difficult with players and agents playing clubs off.

Time to move on from Ince too maybe....

Get some defenders and wing backs in and get Mutch on the weights!

Anyone can seal a deal if they don't care what they pay or what it costs (short or long term).

Well done Malky, don't pay over the odds or get used by players/agents.

Make your offer and let them decide. Malky did that, and hopefully now moves on to better and cheaper options.

So you're telling me you wouldn't have paid that 1m extra(same bid as Saints) for a player that was tracked by big teams such as United, Liverpool and Arsenal etc. A player that could come back to haunt us playing for Saints and could be a player that would have meant the difference between staying up and relegation.

I still think the deal can be done.
we agreed his personal terms, malkys just playing the game with regards to the actual fee.

At this rate we have to go to transfer list b or c. We need to get our number 1 targets as soon as possible before other clubs are after them :ayatollah:

Man Utd - Massimo Taibi
Arsenal - Francis Jeffers
Liverpool - Alberto Aquilani

There's over £20m wasted off the top of my head by those Clubs and by top experienced managers. Just because these Clubs are said to be ''tracking'' a player you think we should buy him? Malky is spot on. to me Wanyama could be an incredible signing and
possibly one of our best ever. But we were all raving about David Goodwillioe two seasons ago

NO.
Where does it end?

Only another £1m? What is they want another £1m on top of that, and commissions?

Value is what someone is prepared to pay for it. Malky says he is worth £? M and that is all he is prepared to pay - good for him.

He is Wanyama an unproven player from a c--p league etc etc. not Rooney, Messi or Ronaldo.

If he was tracked by Man Utd, Arsenal etc? Why have they stopped now? Perhaps they also think he is not worth the money.
