I'm reading today that Tom Ince is playing a friendly for Blackpool tomorrow. Even if he does or not, no need to panic there.

The Ince saga is dragging on though. He has had time to consider a move to City, he either wants to or not. Either way we need to move on. If he wanted the move that much the talk would have happened straight away and not after he has returned to training and playing a friendly, etc. The delay has obviously invited other clubs to show an interest.

Don't see why he'd play in a boring meaningless friendly against some small non-league team if he was anywhere near joining us. What if he gets injured?

It looks like he's being quite disrespectful he has had an offer accepted by the club he should either decline or engage in talks. Not play some random pre-season friendly.

Maybe the club have planned a meeting with him over the weekend?

He is contracted to Blackpool and they call the shots on his whereabouts.

Just a thought but maybe he he has spoken with Malky and agreed all terms over the phone and just needs to come down to sign????????

I said it looks.

It's not normal practice to receive an offer then wait over a week plus play a pointless game. The offer is accepted you move to personal terms and then sign.

There are many potential reasons for the delay. One of which could be stalling for another club to match our bid. It could be that Malky/Ince/Both are busy until then. But externally from a fans point of view it could be seen as disrespectful.

Remember we had all this with Jay Rodriguez last season and it set us back in our transfer plan. Instead we got Maynard in the very last hour of the window (not the way Malky likes doing buisness). So fans getting inpatient is normal when this is our biggest transfer window ever.

Came back on Wednesday when he was due to come back on Monday 8th July and now is playing on Saturday. It is a sign of disrespect to be honest, do Blackpool fans/Paul Ince really care if his son misses a pointless friendly, where he's only scheduled to play fourty five minutes, I don't get the logic of 'saying goodbye' what the f**k is that all about. If you have a bid accepted for you for some time(it's been quite a bit now) the first thing you do when you come back from your holiday is go have talks with the club that wants you or you turn it down there and then. Like said above, maybe I am getting impatient but other clubs are strengthening and some clubs that haven't rushed into strengthening don't need to strengthen.
