What is the deal with him currently?
We offered 10 mil something like that and then we went in again higher and they rejected it?
How much was the second offer?

If you believe the Neil Lennon press conference from earlier today in Germany, we haven't gone back yet with an official second bid - although Celtic are expecting it. Those ITK expect it to be £11m
Southampton also keeping the pot bubbling!

Can't see it happening personally but I'm sure MM has other names in mind

Unfortunately the deal is dead. A fee was agreed in principal along with the payment terms. Those nice people at Celtic then decided to renege, with extra demands(££££). Frustrating for Malky, but i doubt he's the type of man to be bullied is he. We'll probably have to get used to underhand tactics by certain clubs. There are plenty of diamonds like Wanyama out there. I'm sure we're doing our best to find them

As you say, I'm sure there are less known players, just as good or nearly as good, for a cheaper price.

I think he was keen on a move, but it was Celtic who were impossible to deal with at the end.

What if say no1 else matches celtics valuation and wanyama and his agents don't accept the terms at Southampton? We could still be in with a shout don't you think? And why not just match Southamptons offer not much differance in our offers
