FAO Bluebird Unite

Thu Jul 04, 2013 6:14 pm

You've got a lot of members on your facebook page, a lot of signatures and a lot of people saying they will support you on the forums. However why don't you become part of the supporters trust? This will make the supporters trust extremely strong and a strong voice from within the club, the top brass, including Tan will be more likely to listen to you that way.

The supporters trust will open up far more opportunites and open up avenues with the media. It is a no brainer to say the trust with a massive membership looking for the blue to return will stand more chance than a group that has some identity issues.

Put your egos aside and join up as after all it's all about getting the blue back isn't it?

BU have approached the Trust and have had no response from them.

How many of the 20,000 ST holders have signed the petition now?

So with that remark then are you saying that only season ticket holders should show their passion and pride for the clubs history then..?

Surely it's not about approaching the trust, it's more about filling the form in pay your dues and have a majority voice.

Why should people do that when the BU are coming over more active than the Trust?

I always thought the same at first as 48, but what are the trust actually doing? Nothing at all... BU are far more pro active. :ayatollah:

I see what your saying....but then once you have a majority within the trust, you can put in a vote of no confidence in the current set up.....CCST, will always be listened to rather than snubbed and ridiculed like Bluebirds Unite.
f**k knows why there is so much slagging off of the trust.....if your not happy get on the committee.

So you want BU to put the blue issue down the pecking order and prioritise getting a majority vote in the trust? :laughing6: And what time scalee do you have for this soppy buaerocratic coup? 5 years? The trust are all words and no action. sounds more like a cosy little in-crowd' for middle class trainspotters.

Bunch of hypercondriacs, Apparently the badge in the banner is now banned at Futsal. They make things up as they go along, they feed their own ego and make shit up and try and make people join them. For example, they said the seats would be red for next season, ARE THEY RED? No. The railings, are they being painted red? I don't think so. I think they'll moan about the gateways being red despite that being the colour of VisitWales'.

I know one person doesn't represent the views of the whole of Bluebirds Unite but they refer to fans who reluctantly accept the rebrand as 'them' and one person even called another Cardiff City fan 'SCUM' just because he supports the club over the colour.

The committee has a kid that's 15/16 for f**k sake who is more focused on feeding his own ego than getting Blue back, he thinks he's a super fan, he's not.

Call me a plastic/sellout or that but I'm fed up of Bluebirds Unite thinking they're a class above the rest, they're no different to the fans who go along with them, they claim we are sellouts yet still go to games.

f**k off 'Bluebirds Unite'

No I don't want BU......I tell you this, if it takes 5 years..it will still be quicker than the way our divided fans are going about it.
And don't knock the middle class trainspotters because the premiership is full of em.

The way I see it BU is nothing more than a peripheral group with zero power and serious identity issues at them moment. I'd like the trust to change and become more proactive, this can be achieved by the BU if it puts it's mind to it. It will be better in the long run to change the trust and then push Tan to get the blue back. What Chuckles and the BU need to realise is that Tan is here for the long game, it's going to take maybe 5-10 years to make him even consider changing his mind, he won't change his mind in the next few years.
