BRAYFORD

A name that raised a few eyebrows recently and looks like Malky has continued his interest into this season, hopefully something can be done because he's a class player but weather he is good enough for the Premiership is another matter. Would this be a good signing for City? :ayatollah:

Be a risk. Not sure how good or potential wise.

I wonder if MM would go back in for him, he has the habit.

Seems a good player.

Think experience is what our defence/squad needs, players that know what they are up against, its great having this young hungry squad and they will all be raring to go, I just feel that experience will be a key part defensivley for our survival.

Just my opinion.

Not sure really.

Got to go for a quality centre back with experience, put in bids for someone like james tomkins, hes realistic and got experience. that sort of calibre. people with no ego's who get the job done.

We can get Brayford for £1.5m and put him straight in at right back with McNaughton as cover.

Tomkins is not a particularly realistic choice as he's under contract to 2016 and I could not see West Ham letting him go unless someone comes in with a silly offer....i.e. £10m. They turned down £4m for him a few years ago.

I disagree with this idea that we have to find defenders with Premiership experience. We don't. We just have to find defenders who are good enough for the Premiership.

And where do you find players good enough for the premiership, not at championship level as they would already be in a premiership outfit. Thats why IMO I believe we need at least two premiership experienced defenders, then look at getting youngsters who can learn from them and be guided by them.
