looks like the fight will go ahead.. cant wait for it.. who do you think will win?
Thu Jul 04, 2013 10:45 am
Cant wait, if only for the comedy value that Fury brings.
His debut in America a couple of months ago was f8cking class, not from a technical point of view but entertainment, it could not be beat.
He pumped himself up so much he nearly knocked himself out, then he nearly took the guys hands off when they touched gloves at the start

Got floored, which was a sight to behold when someone that tall goes crashing to the deck, got up, dusted himself down, then he knocked the guy clean out witha crashing left hook but was holding the guys head with his right hand

Sure it was illegal but it was brilliant viewing.
Oh yeah, he also took the microphone off the compere and started singing to the audience
I think Haye will be tehcnically too good for him and Fury has a glass jaw.

he was class wasnt he lol!
he does bring good entertainment to the sport.. the only advantage i think he has is that he is a natural heavy weight but i agree i think haye will be technically better than him aswell... definately going to try and get tickets for this 1!

Haye will Knock him out in the first.
Thu Jul 04, 2013 12:38 pm
Im on the fence, fury can be hurt and has been down 3 times i beileve but his recovery is great, haye has his doubters about his chin too, for me its who gets tagged flush first both got good power, its going to be a war for sure

No fence to sit on. Haye will not take any longer then three rounds to finish Fury.

Haye lost a lot of recognition in my book when he pulled Toe-Gate on Wlad.
But I was impressed with the manner of which he took out Chizz.
Vit and the Pikey couldn't do a thorough job on Chizz but Haye did.
Fury is marmite for the sport, but again went down in my estimation when Price was his Mandatory and he walked away from fight leaving the Belts for Price to claim.
The longer the fight goes on the better chance Fury will have to take the win. He will use his size and strength to Sap David, who in turn needs a quick powerful knock out or to use his footwork and fitness to keep Tyson missing.

what happened with him and price?
Thu Jul 04, 2013 2:01 pm
Price has been exposed now. Just a bigger version of Amir Khan. Yellow belly.
Thu Jul 04, 2013 2:08 pm
Price was mandatory for his commonwealth titles (I think) and Fury relinquished the belt instead of facing him.
Polo, I think you're being a tad bit over critical.
I can see your point on the Khan example, but unlike Khan David will face his victor again in his next fight.
Lewis got beat by Rahman in a fight Lewis was expected to walk through and faced him in a rematch and won.

That guy was also giving loads of weight to Fury.Haye is a proper H/W and should kill him.Fury is a genuine gypo and loves to fight but has no discipline.

Dont rate either of them, boxing at this weight and many others has been cheapened and gone downhill.Good pro's from years gone by who never got a shot at a title or made any decent money must be cringing at these fights.

Wouldn't argue with you.

both price and fury has been hyped up, but ive said for along time that all the people who hanged on price's nuts would get a shock soon has he fights someone decent and would be able to tag price chin, whats price biggest wins name? audley Harrison? an old matt skeleton?, fury although hes not as great as he makes out knows he can get put down but get up and win, fury has been in with better people only price lovers would argue he hasn't, since fury should of lost to john McDermott first time round he has got a lot better skill wise.
fury is a nutter with a personality
price got as much personality as a dry lunch

Fury plays the game well, he's the medias dream, but don't be fooled into thinking he believes the hype, he knows the games about money.
Why fight price back then for belts that mean nothing really. Get 10 ,ore fights in and hopefully a world belt and the fight will make millions.
I think fury is a decent fighter, and think he will beat haye as he is about 5 inches taller and a few stone heavier. Can lean on haye all night, or just follow the klitschko way and jab at haye all fight knowing his reach is superior.
Don't think you can say any top heavyweight has a glass jaw, as if any of them catch you off gaurd and you get hit clean, you are going down.
