Had an email from them saying if I give my friends links to joining Sky they will offer me this and that.....

So this was my reply;

Your offering me £75 pound in vouchers if I get you a new customer.
How about you offer me an incentive to remain your customer. I pay you in upwards of £77 on a monthly basis.
Yet I still have the standard HD box and original Router that doesn't give a full signal around my ground floor home.
You also offer unlimited broadband that certain times is limited.
Now BT are offering me full package sports inc sky sports,fibre optic infinity and a 2TB HD box for a one off payment of £49 and £55 PM rising to £61 after the first 12 months.

For me to get that from you guys I would have to be a New Customer or pay in excess of £100 as well as increasing my monthly payment to you by a significant amount.

I have been a loyal customer to Sky and have enjoyed my custom with you.

But current times hard, and you fail to realise that you would probably gain more customers if they saw more loyalty and benifits at being a long serving customer.

Sky are scum. Will never pay for any of their services.

Cancel the whole thing. I rang them up 6 months ago and tried to get a discount. The guy was rude and said no so i cancelled. I sent them an email complaining and low and behold a couple of days later i had a grovelling apology and 12 months half price.

Just ring them and say you want to cancel everything cos your going with bt.they'll give you what you want,i do it all the time.
