There's a lot more mileage left in this yet. Yesterday his agent said they're in"very advanced talks"with unnamed club and Cardozo won't be returning for pre season. Today he's on the back foot with a diplomatic retraction. Add this to the Wales online story, id guess that someone somewhere doesn't want it public just yet

Certainly seems that way, as ive said this story isnt going away, be amazed if it happened and certainly would be our signing of the season, just ahead of Ince and Wanyama ;) , throw in Zouma as well and my prediction of finishing 7th might not be far wrong. :ayatollah:

The interesting thing about most of these signings are that they're young and can only get better!

If they all live up to their potential, we stay up and invest another similar amount next year we could actually have a chance of regular top half finishes at the very least.

It's all very exciting.

These are good points and what the blinkered brigade fail to see before they accuse us of planning a"QPR". The long term planning is well in place and if we pull off signings of the calibre of Wanyama then there will many who will have to take the blinkers off

Some of our fans are quick enough to quosh any of these potential signings, our bids for these players are 100 genuine and until these players decide to go elswhere we certainly ARE in with a chance of signing them, we pay good wages compared to many other Premier league clubs and that could be the turning point for their decisions. Very exciting few weeks ahead indeed. :malky:
