Would ross want to go there. I can really see blackpool struggling this season.

Surely if they want to replace a winger then they should get a winger?

We was after Ros last season and Leeds wanted a swap deal but we wanted cash as well but Bates was unwilling to part with cash as well. Really can't see the player going to Blackpool.

Blackpool had their day in the premiership and once they are relegated and their parachute payments run out then they'll be in the bottom leagues for years to come.

Home gates of 12,000 at the moment I believe and will drop in more if they relegated this season. Unsustainable for a club like Blackpool to compete in the championship in future as even their infrastructure is really poor.

Agreed. Their good times have come and gone.

It doesn't help their chairman siphons any money they do bring off to his father's companies too.

People have a go at foreign owners but they're an example of local owners that are only out to make a buck from their club.

I think they should be forced to repair their pitch though. It's embarrassing to see a swamp like that in such a big league.

I read somewhere that their owner 'Owen Oyston' paid himself £12 million last season out of the parachute money, now I don't know the in's and outs of their club and dealings but it sounds rather like Portsmouth all over again.

Most owners are the same now days, out to make a quick buck. We're lucky we have a stanch Albion fan as chairman whos family have been on the board for decades.

And you're right about the pitch, Jesus Christ, what do they hold there on non football days? The Donkey derbys.

I read that the "Blackpool FC Hotel" that's next door to the stadium was built using parachute payments but is owned by the Oyston family as well.

Looking at the sums they got for the players they sold when they came down too. They spent bugger all on players and I can't imagine the wage bill's very high.

I know Vincent Tan's nuts and should never have been allowed to rebrand Cardiff but I feel lucky having him rather than Venkys or the Oystons.

If Carl oyston leaves Blackpool he leaves them in the comfort zone of not being in debt, whereas with us, if tan was to jump ship at the minute, we would need a serious wealthy backer to stabilise us

I very much doubt he'd leave them with no debt. I'd fully expect him to mortgage them up to their eyes and pocket the money before he thought about selling them.

Can't see McDermott wanting to sell Ross. I'm tipping Leeds for at least a play off place this season, would be good to have them back in the prem, will be a nice 6pts for us year after next ;-)

Leeds have no chance in my opinion. Their owners are only there to asset strip.

I'm an away fan looking in so it's not for me to comment on your domestic problems regarding rebrand and that's down to you and the fans.

But Tan has invested alot of money time and effort into Cardiff from what I've seen and can see him making sure you (Cardiff City) are an established club in the premiership.

He's invested and wants his money back one day and so do the Glasiors of Man Utd and so does our chairman Mr Bloom. Upping the capicity to 36,000? Who knows what your limit can be, 50,000 one day? I know it all depends on success and staying in the top flight but from where I'm sitting you are on paper a top 4 club.

Don't know if I'm strolling into murky waters here so shall opt out before I get bitten.
