I HOLD MY HANDS UP

Last night there was a thread created by myself that turned into a farce.

The intention of the thread was simply to say that a director was no longer appointed by the club and the paperwork was filed at Companies House on Monday.

Unfortunately I reacted to a reply in the thread and allowed my personal feelings to take over and became involved in a debate that would not have taken place had I not made an impulsive comment in reaction to another post.

The thread then turned into something else.

I have always tried to maintain a certain behaviour on the message board and have constantly advised friends not to react and not to become involved in mud slinging on here and maintain the moral ground but last night I should have heeded my own words.

I made a mistake last night and there was certainly an error of judgement on my part, which I hope will not happen again.

there's no shame in admitting you made a mistake and you were wrong,it takes a real man to apologize and you've finally manned up and done the right thing. Now you can put it behind you and move on,well done.

Good on u Carl, all u did was what many on here have said about many other people from the club, no different, your a fan just like us, a pity a few others including Borley were not not man enough, u called him nothing, the name calling came from his mate his side kick Steve davies, any way time to move on, me thinks.

There is a lot of ppl on here to whom this board is everything. And a lot of those ppl need to seriously grow up and listen to themselves its pathetic at times.

I don't think an apology is necessary.. All yesterday did was confirm that nobody here is ITK. They may have been under previous regimes, but not anymore. Any "update" these days is just guesswork & smartly-written texts.

It was not only what your opening post stated it was the cover up later, absolute disgrace and part of an agenda that is hurting CCFC. Its now on record and I hope the club reacts accordingly without further delay. Much of what you have said both last night and in the past has damaged our club. Certainly no other club would put up with your comments and opinions and ours shouldn't. My view is to little to late time to bite the bullet. I wonder what Paul Guy's view is ?

Well we have to have equality across this land or mayhem will rein, seeing as you held your hands up in a manner inappropriately, you should get 5 uyear football ban and upto 18 months at HMP, precedent is set from Kings Road!

On the other hand you could just say feck you all, you had it coming and and why should I apologise none of you do

One question I will ask is why was half the thread deleted last night when the full thread is available online elsewhere? In my view it happens far too much on here i.e stuff getting deleted, hijacked, threads renamed etc. Do yourself a favour Carl reinstate the whole thread and a public apology to Borley and Guy on here wouldn't go amiss either - just my opinion

I don't see any apology, just an acknowledgement that you reacted to a post inappropriately.

It's a long way off apologising for making what appeared to be libelous comments.

Some if your statements were clearly inaccurate and defamatory, so you should apologise for the content, not just your poorly judged reaction.

You're still not big enough to admit your comments were wrong, or to apologise to Steve or Paul Guy directly, and I believe you have lost a hell of lot of respect as a result of all this.

At least the poorly disguised agenda on this forum has been exposed for what it is.

Why don't you try posting more of your personal thoughts about the team, tactics and club affairs in general rather than just posting third hand gossip? Do you actually have any opinions of your own?
