In Carls defence what he said about Paul Guy when giving his opinion was no worse than what others have said about Sam Hammam.

The language Carl used "raped and shafted" has been thrown at Sam Hammam a million times over.

I dont agree with Carls opinion, but then I am not privvy to the football politics of the club, nor do i wish to be.

More interested in who we are signing for this coming season. :malky:

Apologies, but what did I miss last night? Sounds like WW 3 broke out for some reason.

Its human nature to take sides Jinks. Given what was written in the thread I would tend to take the opinion of someone like Borley who would have seen it first hand, where Carl by his own admission was told by someonelse and chooses to believe that.

Anyway, f8ck it, I dont know why I am getting involved I am more interested in on field matters than something that happened years ago.

Just trying to play devils advocate :D

Last night showed that all this ITK stuff is absolute bollocks, as I've suspected for quite some time.

POLO - you are the culprit here you literally started everything off  Your below quote aggravated Carl to respond.... then Steve Borley logged in to correct Carl.

At the same time, thank you for last night's entertainment.

I was genuine in my praise for PMG. What little a normal fan like me knew of the situation he helped steady the ship when it all went tits up under Sam.

Carl choose to give his opinion and the argument flared from there.

Im not getting the blame. No way.

Very diplomatic Mario Merthyrtelli

Fact is - if they hadnt shafted the Olly Muirs thread, we would have all been happy on that thread and held off the Paul Guy thread :)

wow - what a ding dong it turned out to be....
again, I agree with the sides thing and focussing on football

I like the Carl updates and hope he continues to post and sees this as a lesson learned
