If they have supported that team for years and have spent thousands travelling to watch them that team why is there a problem?
Fickleness, glory hunting or whatever you want to label it has always been part of football culture as much as those who are loyal and follow their local side.
Indeed Asia and America wouldn't be such lucrative markets if that mentality didn't exist.
That said I have always thought supporting a super club 100's of miles away over a local club is a little sad but that's just me and everyone is entitled to do what makes them most happy.
