How about this for a noble idea:

We are paying a fortune to bring them over but we wont triple the cost if a ticket as a thanks for your loyal support.

But they won't play competitive ever really. If you asked us as a newly promoted championship team, if we could have Madrid at home for a friendly with a full squad, I'm sure a stadium full would have said yes to paying 60 as a one off game.

Have to remember Bournemouth were financially ruined not long ago aswell. Every penny counts.

Madrid will take a few players from their first team like Kaka etc. They won't be that harsh.

I bet Madrid are probably charging Bournemouth £500k or something to do it. If I remember right, Brazil got £500k back when the Millennium Stadium first opened and played against Wales in the exhibition match / friendly. Bournemouth ground holds just over 10k. So at £50 a ticket they might break even. Its the same with teams like Chelsea, Man U, Arsenal.... They'll play anywhere in the world, to the highest bidder and thats normally USA or Middle East.

Fm what I read, they are bringing everyone not in the confederations cup squads.

So what happens if they draw United, City or Chelseas in the cup? Do they put the price up to £85 for a father and son to go and watch because they have "world class players".
