A forum for all things Cardiff City

Liverpool have made no attempt to block the deal which looks likely to take Tom Ince from Blackpool to Cardiff.
Although Pool agreed a transfer fee with the Welsh club over the weekend, the terms of Ince’s move from Liverpool in 2011 give the Anfield club the right to make a counter-offer for the winger before he is sold on.
They had only 48 hours to do so and The Gazette understands that window closed without a bid.
Pool manager Paul Ince has not given up hope of retaining his son’s services for a further year, though the 21-year-old is not due to report back to Bloomfield Road until next week and is sure to hold detailed talks with Premier League newcomers Cardiff before then.
