What derby games have you been to other than CIty/Jacks?

Not their main derby but both were pretty spicey.

Not a patch on CCFC v SCFC though.

Also went to Birmingham v Leeds league cup semi-final and left my old man and uncle in the players lounge and went outside for a wander after the game. Blues must have had over a 1000 lads out that day.

I forgot that Chris I went to WBA V Brum and your right, nothing compared to Cardiff/Jacks not a patch on us.

Been to a few but the one that stands out was Celtic v Rangers...Scarey

Levski vs CSKA
Galatasaray vs Fenerbahce (most hostile game I've ever been too, made Leeds vs Cardiff look like a school class)

The Turks are the worst by miles and its getting worse out there. I wouldn't go again personally. They run down the streets letting off fireworks and all sorts.

Levski vs CSKA was like Leeds vs Cardiff in the cup. Great balance, only difference is I couldn't understand the chants other than LEVSKI LEVSKI LEVSKI so now they are my Bulgarian club.

I went to Aresnal/Spurs in 97. What a load of crap

I went to the man utd v man city carling cup semi final at old Trafford a couple of years ago sat with utd fans under the city fans who were given the top tier behind the goal ....great game and atmosphere expected a few coins coming our way due to them above me but nothin gutted could've done with a few quid lol

VILLA V BIRMINGHAM, MANY TIMES, VERY INTERESTING ESPECIALLY AT ST ANDREWS--TWO GOOD FIRMS

When I played for Georgetown u/16s a couple of lads had a run-in up town with some Treharris lads so they brought their mates down with them when we played Treharris and attacked Treharris main player - Jason Rudge.

There was more action outside the changing rooms than on the pitch.

Hearts V Hibs has been tasty at times.

those derby games are not the main event.blues /villa would match ccfc v scfc.also wolves v wba is nasty.i been to a few of those games but back in the 70,s.chris the game you are talking about we had a proper firm out.the away game was something else though.we had a awesome mob out.smashed leeds before the game i believe.the cannock blues firm were out.we traveled by car all four of us the trainer of.your number 1 boxer at the moment was in attendance.saw him in the ground.just his south birmingham mates would have been enough to do most mobs never mind the rest of the zulus.the home game was the one were the snooker ball got thrown at gary mc if i remember right?what a player he was.

a lot of wba have no prob with blues and vice versa.some of the albion i know round my neck of the woods lked blues cos they would slap wolves in the 80,s/90,s.don,t think wba have the same probs with wolves now annis.sure they hold there own these days

talking of spicy games apparently hednesford town and fc united kicked off a month or so back.play off game.i didn,t go but a few lads round here who follow different teams turned out.fc brought 1k

Without wishing to sound racist, because its certainly not meant that way, but coloured lads, of which Blues had many, are even scarier when they are mobbed up and in the dark.

On a football fron Gary Mc was superb. One of the best players I have seen live.

from what i heard a few lads greeted them .lads who follow different teams but live around here.i think one or two traveled a bit farther as well.annis would know one of them if the reports are true.i was pleased for hednesford gaining promotion.a lot of cardiff have a love in with chasetown who are a decent club.i favour hednesford.here you got hednesford,chasetown and rushall olympic .no bother though .think stafford rangers is the biggie for hednesford.

I've been to Liverpool v everton early 80's and Arsenal v Spurs-both capacity crowds and plenty of noise but hardly any intensity.Not a patch on the early Cardiff v swans games.

Man City vs Man United at the Etihad

Arsenal v West Ham in the late 70's or early 80s can't remember the exact year, but I paid on the gate like you mostly did in those days and went into the famous 'North Bank Highbury' - and it was packed with West Ham!!!

Man City v Utd I saw many city fans hiding their scarves going up to the Kippax St and then putting them on when they went in. The Kippax end was half city and half Utd. Frightening for the city fans and they were home! That's what it was like in those days!

Liverpool v United more intense then the city game - more hate I would say!

Spurs v Arsenal (several times, as I worked there for a while)

Villa v Birmingham

Was at Kenny Dalglish' last game as manager of Liverpool (first time around) when they played Everton in a 4-4 FA Cup match some years ago. Great game and the atmosphere was surreal...for all the right reasons

My old man is from Stockport, huge united fan, done a few united city Derbys with him. None since citeh were bought out. Was good atmosphere, but nothing compared to united v Liverpool. That was a hell of a game.

Bro in law is a Baggie done all the WBA derby games. Also a pre season game of WBA v India, surely that counts as a derby game! Haha.

Kaiserslautern v hoffenheim.

Kaiserslautern v Frankfurt.

Best atmosphere I've been to though wasn't a derby but champions league final united v bayern.

On a smaller scale, my dad lives away from me and supports Shrewsbury so I go see them every now and then to see my dad. Saw them play games against Hereford, Port Vale and Walsall.

best ive been to is real mardrid v athletico ,f*cking bonkers fighting each other, then the police ,tear gas , rubber bullets ,cars on fire

Been to Pompey v Saints and Brighton v Saints which were tasty affairs but nothing comes close to Cardiff v Swansea!
