Ince agrees deal with Cardiff with Welsh side set to finalise £8m deal

Cardiff have moved a step closer to signing Tom Ince from Blackpool after agreeing personal terms of £35,000-a-week with the England U21 winger.
The Premier League newcomers have already had a bid of £8million plus add-ons accepted and now hope there will be no late hitches with the deal.
Welsh rivals Swansea have yet to follow up their interest while Liverpool have shown no inclination to match the offer for Ince, as they are entitled to do under the terms of his £500,000 move to Blackpool from Anfield two years ago.

Family ties: Paul Ince is set to sell his son Tom to Cardiff

Swansea are continuing talks over a deal for Wilfried Bony and have an interest in QPR midfielder Esteban Granero.
Cardiff manager Malky Mackay has confirmed interest in Benfica striker Oscar Cardozo.
Mackay said: 'I know all about the quality of Cardozo, I know exactly how he plays, I think that would suit our game and his arrival would add quality to our game.'

It's a great capture for us

There's no way Swansea would have matched £8m and £35,000 a week. Their highest earner is Chico(£32k pw)

This is why I still think they'll struggle to entice Wilfred Bony

hope theres a clause to lose some of his wage if we do go down, because £35,000k a wage is a lot of money for a kid,

Hope it's true. I honestly think if it was us or Swansea, he'd pick us.

Money to spend, Malky obviously will explain his plan for the season, other targets etc. Guaranteed lots of playing time. Higher wages. It would make sense to choose us IMO. Plus at Swansea he'd have to compete with Dyer, Routledge, Hernandez etc.

He must know the potential of our club. In a couple of seasons we could be massive. The gypos already know they can't compete with us financially  Onwards and upwards gentlemen :malky: :malky: :malky:

What it should be telling you is,unless you can afford the going rate you'll have to rely on over achieving again.

That's a lot of money. Glad it looks like he's joining us mind, but WOW. I do like malkys youth policy, really bodes well for the future of our club with him bringing in and looking to sign all these quality youngsters, even though they are a tad overpriced I suppose.

I'm loving how the poor relations are giving it all ''oh your paying too much'' for players they trying to get themselves
Suddenly Waynama and Cardozo dont seem such pie in the sky signings do they. One thing is abundently clear. Cardiff City have no intention of just making up the numbers this season. For all they bluster and arrogance, the jacks are now starting to sound more than a little worried. This board will be shot of them in a month or two because the ripping they are going to get is going to be f*cking triffic. Stick around boys
