According to SSN
Sky Sports understands that Kevin McNaughton has agreed a contract extension at Premier League new boys Cardiff City.
The Scottish defender has spent the last seven years with the Bluebirds - making him the club's longest-serving player - and is ready to prolong that association.
He was snapped up from Aberdeen in 2006 and has been a regular throughout his time in South Wales.
McNaughton has made well over 250 appearances for Cardiff and helped them to the Championship title in 2012/13 and promotion to the Premier League.
His current deal was due to expire this summer, meaning he could have dropped into the free agent pool.
Cardiff have, however, admitted to offering fresh terms to the 30-year-old full-back, and it is understood that an agreement has been reached.

He certainly deserves it in my opinion. There was a time around 3-4 years ago when he could have quite easily have left us for the Premier League. Whether he does or doesnt have the ability to cut it we will find out but he is definitely good enough to be a squad player. If players like Monk and Tate can cut it for Swansea then I have no doubts that Mcnaughton will be fine as a squad player.

Great servant and really hope he can make the step up, kept Zaha quiet every time we played Palace so perhaps we should use Super Kev against Man Ure

We will add some quality fullbacks but it doesn't hurt to him give a contract and he will be good cover.
Be great to see him be part of the special season ahead.
