Mon Jul 01, 2013 9:13 am

Heard his name linked with us for months , looks like he's about to make his move over here !
Will malkey jump in for him ? He's a very highly rated full back , Argentinian international and available for around 4/5 mill .
We know our scouts have been in South America they must have taken a look at him :ayatollah:

Gino PERUZZI chased by numerous premier league clubs

Sunderland are supposedly in talks with Velez over trying to sign defender Gino PERUZZI. The deal would cost Sunderland around 5 million Pounds and Velez general manager Christian BASSEDAS has stated that PERUZZI is close to leaving the club, but he didn't specify to which club.

Manchester City are tracking Velez Sarsfield right-back Gino Peruzzi.

The Daily Mail says City are showing interest in Velez Sarsfield right-back Peruzzi.

The 20-year-old Argentina international, who can also play on the wing, impressed scouts in last year's Copa Libertadores. Inter Milan are also interested.

I watched footage of him on youtube recently and I wasn't impressed at all. If that footage was the best they could come up for Peruzzi, I dread to think how poor he usually is. The footage made McNaughton look world class in comparison. I would personally keep well away.
