If it means we stay in the Premiership next season it will pay for itself :ayatollah:

Depends how you look at it. Potentially a huge investment for the club. If we get a great season or two out of Wanyama or Cornelius they could double in value. Don't underestimate how big a club we have a chance to become

Young players who are willing to succeed :ayatollah:

Man its and co spend that on just one player,we are premier league now

Re: 28 Million

it is alot (if we do sign all 3 of em) but like sum1 mentioned before we've spent it on young hungry players who in my opinion their value is only goin to go up so if we do sell em on i reckon we cud make a profit on all 3 of them if they av decent 1st seasons in the prem

or at the most we might take a 1 or 2 million pound loss on each of em

Investments!

Their values will hold or rise over the next few years.

I suppose these players are players for the next few seasons, and buyin these type of players now will save cardiff havin to spend as much next season

all valid points .....

but, its frightening - the profit we should make on kim-bo - if he kicks on like we expect in the PL

Re: 28 Million

I don't think Kimbo will elevate his status until 2nd PL
Season (if we have one).
He is built for PL and could be a champ league player
In the making.

Would love lescott in for a season to help our boys at the back

Totally agree with this.

To spend that much on 3 players is crazy. What ever your wage bill was fir kast season you can now double it. Then out of roughly 80m turnover you spend 30 on 3players. Not as if those 3players even have a proven record at this level. Put it into perspective sinclair scored more championship goals than ince but cost us under 2 million, canas free and michu 2 so thats 3 similar players for under 4 million. Sorry but I think its crazy.

Brilliant indepth answer. Malkey is sn inexperienced manager with no experience of this level. Your scouting has always been poor in comparison to ours over the past 10 years the money you spent to get to the pl is crazy and yet it took you years longerto get there. Money isnt the answer, talent is.

Thanx for your jealous input, it's well noted

Thank you for your input Jack. so the way forward is to scout cheap, amazing talent and get them in for peanuts. This from a club chasing Bafetimbi Gomis for £12m. Lets make no bones here. the jacks done great first season without spending money, their system of playing worked. But last season without Michus input they would have been relegated. He cost peanuts, brilliant buy. But the wheels have come off. teams have figured out how to play swansea so this season they need stronger players... so what do they do, go bidding £10m - £12m then say Cardiff are mad to spend that kind of money themselves?? yeh righto. Look at our plans. 42,000 seater stadium. Future. Looking ahead. Swansea will have now gone 3 full seasons playing in front of 20,000 fans in the premiership. Swansea wont fund the rebuild themselves. Ask yourselves why?... the word is. there are nowhere near another 10,000 fans desperate to watch games down there and Jenkins is shit scared of spending all that money when theres every chance they may be playing in front of 12,000 - 15,000 in two years - in the championship.

Re: 28 Million

Swansea would struggle to fill a 25k stadium iv no doubt about that, they will always be a small club on a shoestring budget
