A lot of money for scotts prem player, I think we could spend that on 2 good prem players.

A lot of potential and he has given a few performances which is why clubs like United and Arsenal had their eye on him a few months back.
A lot of money indeed. I sit on the fence with this one. A lot of money but it shows intent.

I actually think it's great business, if we get Wanyama and Ince, as well as our new Danish giant.
The possible future fees we could generate would be exceptional, £20-£30 million each... Quite easily.
All three players in a great young age...the future looks great for CCFC.

Correct with the age and potential. We can get the money for value.

He is young enough that we could make a profit on him in a few years or get most of the money back by selling him if we went down. Spending £15m on a 30 year old, no matter how good he is would be more of a risk but I really don't believe we would go for or get Cardozo.

You gotta remember 2 or 3m get you a good championship player,4-6m gets you an average prem player.

Lets sign Chopra for £5m then instead. We'll go straight back down but at least we can sing a good song. £6-15m is what we will be paying now for true quality. Now and then we'll get lucky like Swansea did with a bargain. They deserve credit for such a signing and will probably profit on it significantly this summer but everyone saying we must do the same are living in cloud cuckoo land. Its not going to happen. Now and then we'll pick up a gem on the cheap but it wont happen all the time. Dortmund signed Kagawa cheap but then knew hitting the jackpot twice is hard so they when and put a significant sum down on Reus.
Its called being market aware and im sure Malky is. With the players linked, it doesn't look like hes prepared to take chances.

To you and me 12mill is a lot but to a billionaire its small change.

On the fence only in that he has plyed his trade in Scotland. But he is highly regarded, i think if we get him he will be superb?

soton paid 7mil for rodriguez, charlie austin is being quoted at 6mil plus... these are championship players...
like already said, if you want prem players its 6mil upwards, if you want quality players.. its an easy 10mil.. unless your liverpool and they paid over the odds for every player!!
cornelius, ince, wanyama all very young players with bags of potential.. we could easily make a profit on all.. carzola, while already 30 is a proven top quality player, we prob wouldnt get 10mil plus for him in a 1 or 2 yrs time, but it wouldnt be far off... thats if we are even looking at him...

People will often say let's go down the Swansea route but it is not that easy.
Even Swansea know the expectation on them is rising because of how high their finishing in the league.
We will need to spend and MM is bringing in fresh talent which could last long time, I hope he will bring in a old head or two with experience.
