"On to Glory" book

Sat Jun 29, 2013 5:28 pm

I thought I'd jot a few notes down on this as no-one has seemed to have done so yet

Picked my pre-ordered copy up today and can honestly say that its well worth having.

Basically its a chronological collection of the programmes Inc. the cover, Malky's notes, and the match report. it also has some nice double paged photos, and the season's stats. The front has a profile on the management and playing squads, a foreword and AN UPDATED CLUB ROLL OF HONOUR!! ( :ayatollah: )

If you have some gaps in your programme colelction or want a good chronicle to read about last season, then get this book...yes it does have some shameless advertiseding of th city review dvd on the back page, but that issue aside it pretty much is the "essential" record for last season!

(P.S. No Annis or Carl on the list of pre-orderers!? Are you planning to write a fans' view book about last season Annis? :malky: you'd have quite a lot to tell inc. the rebrand! )

If someone bought a programme for every home match this season it would have cost £69.

So this book costs £12.99 and reproduces most of the programme notes without any of the adverts that no-one reads anyway.

Sounds as if anyone who bought the programmes should avoid wasting their money.

Hopefully there will be some proper books written to cover this coming season!
