Ive made it clear to the mods that banning me is counter productive. ill get my say either way. but surely its better for the forums members to know who I am and can have the opportunity to put me on ignore.

and the sensible ones who know I talk sense can debate what I discuss. because once this username goes, that me not out in the open anymore, ill be going dark.

If I remember, when I registered, I had to wait for a mod to "accept" my account.. So to set up all these accounts in readiness is pretty dedicated!

To be fair, unless you were going to blanket ban jacks, how would you know it was RM?

Or Owain could just add this code to the site roots .htaccess file and you're screwed unless you sign up with a legit IP.

Too many downsides. He'll end up finding a legit ip to register with.

There's no real way of banning someone that wants to come back.
Just stick him on ignore and dont give him the reaction he craves.

Banning him just means he wins the argument. It is the act of someone who admits defeat. Just leave him be, and if you want to ignore him then do so. Simple, and much more mature
