Anybody into their cycling?

Just been for a nice 35mile ride up to Caerphilly and back on my new bike.

Great way to spend a sunny Saturday afternoon without any football on!

Can't wait for the season to start, but hopefully this'll keep me busy til then.

Yes, me mate. There are some brilliant routes around the Valleys. I take my son on a bike ride most weekends in the summer (footy in the winter ), it's a fantastic experience both for father and son. The Valleys are awesome, you can take a treain up to the start of msot routes too - and the bonus is you are dropping more downhill than up if you follow the rivers down. You can go from Aberdare, Rhigos, Merthyr, Tredegar, Fochrhiw, accross from Quaker's Yard to Newport, loads of places.

Off to Talybont tomorrow - going to cycle to Abergavenny. Only problem is my front brake is worn out, so I'm relying on a pretty crap back one and they are out of stock, so I may not be posting next week
