Sky Italia and several verified European journalists have tweeted about it since last night. Sky reckon we've bid 15m euros

15m euros.

serious question here. are you not concerned by this? everyone seems to be loving it. wasn't the reason everyone accepted the rebrand was to become more stable financially?

Here we go again. This is how it works with you. I'll give you my view. You'll have a different one, then the thread gets dragged down. I'd rather converse with people who respect other people's reasonable opinions. Lets not waste each others time

Which is currently being worked on, along with getting in players for the new season. Why are you obsessed with it?

Ive simply asked you a question. Its very much on topic, 15m euros spent on this player plus wages is going to make an impact financially is it not?

Im just trying to understand where the general Cardiff fan is mentally at the moment. is it complete caution to the wind and enjoy the ride for however long it lasts or are there people who are concerned?

If you spend say 50m this season, you are guaranteeing youself a hefty loss. if you go down, that literally could be that for you guys, the money being talked about here is serious serious stuff, and you have absolutely no guarantees that Tan is footing the bill.

I know mate. He hasn't been too bad this last month or so, but he soon reverts back to type, hence my reply above. He even admitted earlier that his sole purpose on the board is to correct everything we say as he's the only one living in reality

With the plans Tan and Malky have, we'll be closer to becoming the next Chelsea than the next QPR.

That's all you need to know

Unwashed

I have supported city far too long.

This is another chapter in the saga that is Cardiff City.
How it happened, I dont know - but we are a premier league team owned by a Billionaire!!!!!
We are being linked with the cream (or full fat milks) around the world.
This Billionaire has sanctioned things (rightly and wrongly) and due to this will be always controversial.

We have a manager who is still learning himself, someone highly regarded ala Brenda.
It also looks like we have foundations, maybe even a managerial legacy in Bellamy.
Although nothing can be expected with our Billionaire at the helm.

Who knows what the future holds (positive or negative)

sit on and enjoy the ride Jack - it is as hard as it is easy fella :malky: :ayatollah:

Do we really need two 6ft+ centre forwards?

I'd like to see Maynard and Campbell given a chance than spend over £10m on another forward.

(Just trying to get this post back on topic, don't feed the troll lads)

Not pedantically correcting but correct all the nonsense spouted about us. no shame in that.

Im never bad mr Gent, sure I ask awkward questions but then again, nobody else will. you wont go that much wrong by listening to me you know. im very unbiased so give reasonable opinions whether you think they are or not.

This spending to ME seems insane. I would genuinely like to know what others are thinking.

Ok the thread has now officially been derailed.

This is getting ridiculous

Excellent point. Cornelius and Cardozo are very similar. I was surprised to read that we're going in again for Cardozo

But you say that on one hand and then on the other Tan is wanting to sell his shares. it doesn't add up.

Dando has highlighted my thoughts. It's flattered to be linked with a player of this calibre, 106 goals in 160 games I think, in a league against Braga, Lisbon and Porto etc as well, not to mention playing in the Champions League a lot. It would be great and a verified twitter account said a bid was accepted just Cardozo was waiting on other options so there's no chance of him coming here but it's a weird one and if anything did come of it then wow

He's not going anywhere until he makes a fat old profit. It's what he does

Apparantly, he is stalling because we are going to loan him to Newport for a season.......

I can understand Malky wanting to build a squad but both these guys will want to be starting every game and could lead to problems. That Cardozo lets his manager know when he isn't happy too (check out YouTube for him pushing his gaffer about after a game)

I'd move Rudy on (even a loan) and get in Hooper for £5m.

This is exactly why everyone thinks you are a knob. Jumping straight into the thread to turn it into a negative. Im just glad to know you will forever be a virgin and never have the opportunity to pass on your genetics to another living being.

There is absolutely nothing for you to worry about and absolutely nothing we can do about it. We will either wave when we pass you on the up or start against someday in blue.

You seem more concerned for the former and yes I know you did it, what you would class as, the right way, staying within budget and being a west Wales family run club*. How boring.

*by family run I obviously mean shitting on small businesses then having a board taking profits out of the club instead of backing the manager.

He's just"curious"about our finances, but there will be reams of old posts here under his Roath Magic pseudonym where he expertly told everyone about our finances and impending doom with vitriolic bitterness. He's one really twisted human being who despises the fact we're well on the way to becoming Wales number one again
