Yeah I get he was top scoring midfielder in La Liga but that doesn't always translate across leagues that well and there's been plenty of cases of players carrying on with the form of their old league and then tailing off on latter seasons.


Not saying Michu will be like that but you'd still say he's a bit of a risk for the price I'd expect you to demand.

I think he'll go and Swansea will replace him with Bony and another player and be stronger.

I think buying a "risky" player for the likes of man city is a whole different level than the likes of us , they chucked 7.2 away on Scott Sinclair and he struggled in his first prem season

Pellegrini has been watching over him for quite sometime both in La Liga and had close eyes on him in his first season in the PL, he needs to find someone to replace Tevez and I think Michu would fit the bill

But a player that scored 15 ? From midfield in la liga and 22 for us last season obviously isn't a mug also shows how versatile he can be , the guy is class and he has such a winners mentality on the field its incredible

No I guess it's not a massive surprise he did well in the prem. Can't see him scoring more than the low tens next year though, especially if you get an orthodox striker to play in front of him.

Don't get me wrong I do rate him, he was the only thing keeping me within touching distance of second last in work's fantasy football league

Obviously I don't watch him week in week out, mostly just MotD highlights and maybe the odd live match so you'll know far more about whether he could make the step up to a top team than me.

As much as i hate to say it from what I've seen he's class and could do a job for man city no problem.
